Eligibility
At FreshRealm, we believe in making benefits accessible to all eligible employees. Our easy-to-understand eligibility criteria are designed to help you quickly determine your qualification for our benefits program, so you can focus on what matters most—your well-being.
You may enroll in the benefits program if you are an active, full-time employee who is scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week.
If you’re enrolling as a new employee, you become eligible for benefits the first of the month following date of hire and must enroll within 30 days to have coverage for the rest of the plan year. You will also need to enroll for the next plan year’s benefits during the enrollment period.
As a benefits-eligible employee, you may enroll in benefit plans as a new hire or during the annual open enrollment period. Outside of the annual open enrollment period, you will not be able to add, change or remove benefits unless you have a qualifying life event.

Dependents
Eligible dependents may include:
- Your legal spouse or domestic partner.
- Your natural children, legally adopted children, step children and children for whom you assume legal guardianship up to age 26.
- Children age 26 or older incapable of self-support due to a mental or physical condition incurred prior to age 26. You may be required to complete a Handicapped/Disabled Certification form for coverage.
