Key Features

Company Match

Nightwing helps grow your retirement savings by matching up to 8% of your eligible earnings.

Investment Management

The 401(k) plan offers competitive, well-diversified investment and brokerage account options, along with free online advice sessions and guided investment tools. If you need access to your savings while you’re still working, the plan also allows up to two loans.

IRS 2026 Contribution Limits
  • The most you can contribute each year is $24,500 *.
  • If you are age 50 to 59, you can defer an additional $8,000 * (known as Catch-Up Contributions).
  • If you are age 60 to 63, you can defer an additional $11,250 * (known as Super Catch-Up Contributions).

* Internal Revenue Service (IRS) contribution maximums are subject to change.

All contributions, including the company match, are immediately vested. Please ensure you do not exceed the IRS contribution limits for the year, especially if you’ve contributed to other 401(k) plans with previous employers. You are responsible for monitoring your contributions across all employers to stay within the maximum allowed.

The blackout period for the transition is expected to end the week of October 25. Please refer to the below for more information.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

If you enroll in the Anthem Core HDHP or Anthem Plus HDHP, you have access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) with Fidelity.

The HSA is a tax-advantaged personal savings account that allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision expenses you have now or in the future. A full list of qualified expenses is available in IRS Publication 969.

How the HSA Works

Make contributions. In 2027, the IRS maximum limits on total contributions to your account are:

  • $4,500 for single coverage
  • $9,000 for all other coverage levels
  • If you are age 55 or older, you can contribute an additional $1,000 (known as Catch-Up Contributions).

Never pay taxes. Contributions are made on a pre-tax basis, earn interest tax-free, and aren’t taxed when withdrawn for qualified healthcare expenses.

It’s your money. Unused money can be carried over each year and invested for the future. You can even take it with you if you leave Nightwing or retire.

Invest your account. Once your account balance reaches $1,000, you can invest it in mutual funds, giving your account more opportunity to grow.

Company Contribution

Nightwing will contribute to your HSA in early January if you enroll in the Anthem Core or Plus plan and have an HSA open with Fidelity. The contribution amount is based on your plan and coverage tier:

  • Core: $375 individual / $750 family
  • Plus: $750 individual / $1,500 family

Note: The employer contribution for new hires is prorated each quarter. For example, new hires joining in Q2 receive 75% of the Nightwing contribution.

Eligibility

To enroll in an HSA, you must:

  • Have coverage through a qualified high-deductible health plan (HDHP); both Anthem HDHP plans qualify.
  • Not be covered under any other non-HDHP insurance (through Nightwing or a family member’s employer).
  • Not have coverage through Medicare or TRICARE.
  • Not be claimed as a dependent on anyone’s tax return.
  • Consult with a tax advisor with any questions or concerns.

HSA contribution limits include Nightwing’s contributions and are subject to change annually as determined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It’s important to ensure you do not exceed the maximum if you have deposited funds into more than one HSA during the year. If you join the plan mid-year, we recommend prorating your annual contribution amount based on how many months you will be covered under a high-deductible health plan during the year. Please consult your tax advisor for assistance.

Manage Your Accounts

Log in to the Fidelity website or access the site through Okta. If you use Okta, you’ll go directly to your account without needing to enter a separate username and password.

It’s important to estimate your expenses carefully, as Flexible Spending Accounts are use-it-or-lose-it. That means if you do not use all the funds in your account by March 15, 2028, you will forfeit them. You have until March 31, 2028, to submit claims for eligible expenses to your FSA for reimbursement.

Commuter Benefits

To help ease the cost of your commute to work, we offer two tax-free commuter accounts through Fidelity — one for transit and one for parking. These accounts let you set aside pre-tax income to pay for eligible expenses.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) limits monthly contributions to each commuter account to $340 * in 2026. Funds carry over month to month, and you can start or pause contributions at any time during the year.

* Internal Revenue Service (IRS) limits are subject to change.

  • Parking: Parking at or near your office or where you park to commute by train, vanpool, or carpool.
How to Enroll

Commuter benefits are not part of Annual Enrollment — you can enroll at any time. To do so, log in to the Fidelity website or access the site through Okta. If you use Okta, you’ll go directly to your account without needing to enter a separate username and password.

Disability

Disability coverage helps replace a portion of your income if you’re unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury. Nightwing provides eligible employees with company-paid Core Short-Term Disability coverage, with the option to enroll in voluntary employee-paid Buy-Up Short-Term Disability and Buy-Up Long-Term Disability benefits. If you do not enroll in voluntary coverage when you’re first eligible, you’ll need to complete an Evidence of Insurability health questionnaire to enroll at a later date.

Short-Term Disability
Short-Term Disability (STD) provides income replacement if you’re temporarily unable to work due to a qualifying illness or injury.

  • Core STD: Nightwing automatically provides eligible employees with Core STD coverage at no cost, which replaces 75% of your weekly income for up to 10 weeks.
  • Buy-Up STD: If you’d like additional protection, you can enroll in Buy-Up STD coverage, which replaces 100% of your weekly income for the same benefit period.

Both Core and Buy-Up STD include a 7-day waiting period. You may use PTO during this period before benefits begin.

Long-Term Disability

Long-Term Disability (LTD) helps protect your income if you’re unable to work for an extended period. LTD coverage is voluntary and employee-paid. The plan replaces 60% of your base pay, up to $15,000 per month, with benefits beginning on the 11th week of disability.

To learn more, visit Lincoln Financial Group’s website and use access code Nightwing. You can also review the Nightwing Leave Aid on the Resources page.

Pre-Existing Condition Limitation

The Buy-Up STD plan and the LTD plan both include a “3/12 Pre-existing Condition Limitation.” A pre-existing condition is an illness, injury, or medical condition for which you received advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription medication during the 3 months before your disability coverage became effective. Benefits for a disability caused by a pre-existing condition may be limited during your first 12 months of coverage. After you have been covered for 12 consecutive months, this limitation no longer applies. The pre-existing condition limit will no longer apply to the company-paid Core STD plan effective January 1, 2027.

Review Your Beneficiaries

Be sure to review your beneficiaries for your Life and AD&D Insurance during the enrollment process to ensure they’re up to date.

Life and AD&D Insurance

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance offers financial protection if you pass away or experience a serious injury. Nightwing automatically provides basic coverage through Lincoln Financial Group at no cost to you. You can also buy additional coverage for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner, and/or your children.

Basic Coverage

You automatically receive basic life and AD&D insurance equal to 1x your base annual salary up to $1 million at no cost to you, with no enrollment required.

Note: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires you to pay taxes on the value of your company-paid basic life insurance in excess of $50,000. This amount is called “imputed income.” It’s calculated by subtracting $50,000 from your coverage amount, multiplied by an age-based multiplier set by the IRS. Imputed income is taxed now so your beneficiaries don’t have to pay taxes when they receive a life insurance payout. If you want to avoid imputed income taxes, you can opt to receive a flat $50,000 in basic life insurance during benefits enrollment.

Voluntary Coverage

See page 21 of the 2027 Benefits Guide for your voluntary coverage options.
