Time Away from Work
Whether you’re taking a vacation, observing a holiday, or welcoming a new child, Nightwing provides time off and leave benefits to help you recharge and spend time with the ones who matter most.
Paid Time Off
Nightwing’s Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit gives you flexibility to take time away from work for any reason. PTO is earned each pay period, and your accrual rate is based on your years of service with Nightwing.
See page 24 of the 2027 Benefits Guide for the paid time off accrual schedule.
Holidays
Nightwing offers the following paid holidays each year:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Washington’s Birthday (Presidents Day)
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day After Thanksgiving (except for select program employees)
- Christmas Day
Note: Employees working outside the U.S. and/or on certain projects may need to follow a different holiday schedule.
Parental Leave
Full-time employees are entitled to six weeks of parental leave paid at 100% of regular base pay for time required to bond with a child. Part-time employees who work more than 20 hours but less than 40 hours will be eligible to take a prorated amount of paid leave per their standard hours. Leave must be taken within 12 months of the birth or adoption event.
Employees who give birth may also be eligible for Short-Term Disability (STD) benefits. STD is separate from, and in addition to, Nightwing’s parental leave benefit, providing additional time and income protection.
Disability Leave
If you’re unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury, you may be eligible for leave under one of our disability plans. Nightwing provides eligible employees with company-paid Core Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage through Lincoln Financial Group. You can also buy additional short-term disability coverage, as well as long-term disability coverage. Visit the Disability page to learn more.
FMLA and State Leave
Employees in certain states may also be eligible for state and local leave programs. Eligibility, benefit amounts, and application processes vary by state.
Keep in mind, any federal, state, and/or local leaves will run concurrently with Nightwing programs.
